Located in the heart of Scotland’s capital, our camps and academies are dedicated to developing the skills, techniques, and strategic thinking necessary to excel in field hockey. Designed for players who are passionate about field hockey and are driven to elevate their skills to the highest level.
Our Story
It all began with a vision from Dan Coultas, who has set out to help emerging players evolve by expressing their skills and truly enjoying the game of hockey. His passion was to inspire the next generation of hockey players, encouraging them to thrive both on and off the field. Dan's goal is for his players to become part of a vibrant community that values growth, exploration, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.

Director of Coaching
Dan Coultas
Dan Coultas is a former Great Britain and current Scotland hockey player, boasting an impressive 80 combined caps for Great Britain and Scotland, with over 40 goals to his name.
He has represented Scotland on the international stage, competing in the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, two European Championships, two World League Tournaments, and one Champions Challenge Tournament. Dan also holds the Scottish record for the most goals scored by a single player in an international match, netting five goals against South Africa.
In his current roles, Dan serves as the Hockey Coach for George Watson's College Boys 1st XI as well as Watsonians Mens 1st XI hockey team. He is also the Head of Strength & Conditioning for all sports at George Watson's College.

Dylan Bean
Dylan is an Australian hockey player currently competing as a forward for the Grange Men’s 1st team. He has a strong track record in state hockey, has represented U21 Australian Country Hockey, and has been part of multiple Australian development squads. Dylan is renowned for his sharp goal-scoring instincts and dominance inside the D, he is a key attacking force on the field.

Where will the sessions take place?
Our camps are held at Meggetland or Peffermill Playing Fields in the Muga next to Pitch 2.

What are the start and end times?
Elite Camps and Essential Camps run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Drop-off begins at 9:30 a.m.

What equipment do I need to bring?
All children attending must bring their own hockey stick, shin pads, mouthguard, left-hand glove (if applicable), and appropriate footwear and clothing.
All participants in our sessions are required to wear shin pads and mouthguards. Without the proper protective equipment, your child will not be permitted to participate in game play.
Goalkeepers are required to provide their own goalkeeping equipment.

What food do I need?
For our camps, please ensure your child brings a packed lunch, snacks, and a refillable water bottle.
